What can I say, Robbie & Carrie….
Two SOLID people who have STOLEN my heart. I met Carrie on a conference trip to Regent University. God knew it was going to be a SPECIAL friendship long before we did so He decided to orchestrate it, and every impromptu meeting thereafter. We always ended up on the same side of town and at the same coffee shop. We knew we were destined to be friends! We began sharing our love stories and I soon began to understand who this “Robbie guy” was. A sweet, quiet, God fearing man who captivated Carrie’s heart. Robbie proposed under a special tree in Maymont and trees have seemed to be a theme throughout their relationship; roots reaching deep down into the foundation of Christ and then spreading God’s glory out into the world. Thats how I see this couple.
The day was fabulous, and I found myself crying a time or two. ….or five. Petersburg Country Club couldn’t have had a better couple there for the day; caring, loving and so gentle. The love for Christ these two share and the way they have extended that love to the world and myself truly touched me. Thank you Robbie & Carrie for sharing your day with me. It meant the world!
