For Kali & Jesse’s Richmond engagement session we ventured down to some of Richmond’s finest – Belle Isle and The Tredegar. These proud Richmonder’s are in love with their city and rightfully so! This city is one of a kind and gorgeous! If you are new to Richmond these are amazing site seeing spots – – So much history and beauty!! Did you know that the Tredegar was one of the main factories that produced iron and artillery weapons during the Civil War? Anywhere you walk downtown it feels like you are walking into history. Of course Belle Isle is one of my favs and thats where we ended our session- with a gorgeous sunset over looking the River City.

These two met December 2011 through her best friend (of 18 years) watching football with friends. Little did she know it was a set up. Don’t you love those things?? Turns out- it was a set up that would last a life time. These two hit it off and were inseperable. Fast forward a little later and Jesse told Kali that her Christmas present was to go to Vegas (I want one of those presents!!). Jesee surprised her with a trip to Sedona where he got down on one knee at Cathedral Rock. The next day these two finished out their beautiful trip by checking out the Grand Canyon. Ummm…. go Jesse!?? You nailed it buddy!!

When I’m not photographing weddings, I enjoy long walks in the neighborhood with my husband, my kiddos Tuxie and Sunny, and my labradoodle Hokie.. Also, I am a huge dog-lover! I’m pretty sure heaven is full of dogs. I can’t wait to connect with you, and yes, your pup is always welcome here!
