This Pretty In Pink, Styled Shoot in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina was absolutely a blast!! It was a two day workshop hosted by the one and only- Amanda Hedgepeth Photography. Amanda has A LOT of pink in her branding so it was no surprise that this workshop had A LOT OF PINK. It had a ton of pink, orange and teal- very springy. I must say (A little side note, which could turn into a blog post eventually)- I’m not a huge fan of pink but over the years something has happened- I LIKE IT. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to hop in a pink tu-tu but I can admire this color and all the gorgeous girls who rock it! I was always a tom boy so growing up I hated it, but being a wedding photographer It’s starting to grow on me. Kat from Dear Sweetheart Events Styled this outstanding workshop and didn’t Kat do a great job???
The workshop was a two day event at the beach, how awesome right?? But yes, sadly it was winter so we couldn’t get in the water but it was still beautiful. The first day we met Amanda and had a Q &A where she went over the behind the scenes of her business. She answered everything from editing, clients relations, to her journey in the photography industry. The next day we met bright and early at Kitty Hawk Pier and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! Pinks, teals, peonies and more; a photographers dream! We had a stunning model and it was an awesome time. I made a ton of friends, hung out with Amanda and learned so much!
Workshops are fabulous! You come out with beautiful pictures, tons of friends, and more educated. As a photographer I am never done growing. Everything is always changing so I’ve got to keep learning. It not only betters myself but my clients as well. What better way to learn more then from the talented photographers in my field!??
