As a Richmond Senior Portrait Photographer, I had so much fun working with Robbie on his session at Bandy Field Park!
I think the most important thing about shooting a high school senior session, is really just allowing my client to be themselves. Graduating high school is such a big milestone, and I think it’s important to capture who they are at that moment in their life. When I worked with Robbie on his senior session at Bandy Field Park, I let him take the lead in transitioning from pose to pose.
Doing this allowed for a more relaxed session and tons of laughter! Two key ingredients for any senior session! I have to be honest, it was hot as heck on the day of the shoot! Luckily, Robbie didn’t mind putting on his varsity jacket and his championship ring (it’s huge!) to get a few shots that represented his high school football days! Robbie is a state football champion, and his team won the game in overtime! How freakin amazing is that?! He told me that has to be one of his favorite memories from high school. I’m sure it’s one he’ll remember for a lifetime!
Robbie doesn’t yet have a specific college in mind for next year. But he is looking forward to figuring it all out. And he’s more than excited about where the next year will take him. He’s hoping that whatever that path is, he still has the opportunity to play football!
