Meet Mary, owner and founder of Purify Infrared Sauna Retreat, in Richmond, Virginia. I had the honor of working with Mary, and was totally intrigued and excited about her new company. While visiting California, Mary stumbled upon a spa that had infrared saunas. She thought that it was the coolest idea, and thought, “We need this in Richmond!”. After some time, her dream became a reality and she recently opened her beautiful new Spa called Richmond’s Purify Infrared Sauna Retreat. So you are probably asking yourself, what makes her spa different? A WHOLE LOT. A normal sauna will heat up the air around you, an infrared sauna will penetrate deep into your body and raise the temperature.
