These Washington DC engagement photos with Samantha and Taylor were a stroll through the sunlight and a celebration of love. My sweet couple met on a dating app. They both, admittedly, were looking for a way to meet their significant other in a way that felt dedicated. They both set out to find someone they could spend their life with. And it all worked according to plan.
Their relationship quickly took off, realizing that what they found in one another was passion and trust. Together they began to spend their free time exploring Richmond. Samantha and Taylor both love that Richmond has a rich history but also that it offers so many modern comforts. Their time in the city is often spent exploring new restaurants, bars, wineries, and shops. The weekends they spend together are for exploring a museum or a historic home. All the while soaking up the beautiful tapestry that Richmond has to offer.
When it was time to propose, Taylor had a well-planned proposal at Veritas Winery in the works. During the month of October, Samantha and Taylor couple spent the night in a Charlottesville hotel, with the intention of exploring the Parade of Homes in the area. The weather was crisp and they were ready to take in the bucolic tones of the fall foliage while enjoying locally made wine. After the tour of homes, Taylor went to the car to get his jacket. However, Samantha noticed that he just so happened to be taking a while. Then, he returned with a concealed ring concealed and a second phone set up in order to take photos of the proposal. Once Taylor was officially back at their table he got down on one knee and asked Samantha to be his wife.
