Rachel and Brian’s wedding at Celebrations at the Reservoir was heartfelt and meaningful. It took love to a whole new level. When I think of marriage, I often think of Mark 10:8. The Bible verse says, “no longer two but one.” There is something so profound and beautiful in those words. Those 5 words have always resonated with me, but it wasn’t until Rachel and Brian’s wedding did it take on a whole new meaning for me. Rachel and Brian not only become one on their wedding day, but they also became one blended family. They united their kids together and formed a bond that will never be broken. Their wedding was filled with love and unity as their children joined them by the altar to say their vows.
Family: Life’s Greatest Blessing
Seeing their children stand united with them by the altar touched my heart in so many ways. The girls looked angelic in long French blue dresses. Rachel looked absolutely glowing in a modern two-piece lace bridal gown. Brian and his son matched in dapper navy blue suits. They looked like a family cut right out of a magazine. There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience, as Rachel and Brian said their vows and bonded together in holy matrimony.
A Place To Call Home
They chose Celebrations at the Reservoir to say their “I do’s” because it’s the place they call home. They live on the reservoir and spend the most time as a family there. The waterfront venue overlooking Swift Creek Reservoir was picturesque and perfect. The water looked so serene and calm. The modern arbor added a dynamic contrast to the still water. There were so many unique touches to the wedding, but my favorite one of all was a special furry friend. An adorable Alpaca named Phoenix was the guest of honor. He stole the show sporting nothing but a blue bowtie. Having Phoenix there and spending the day with everyone they love was Rachel and Brian’s favorite memory of the day.
How Long Will I Love You
Their unconditional love for each other and their children was evident. The entire day was wrapped in utter happiness and love. After the wedding, instead of a honeymoon, the couple took their children away on a family moon. Doesn’t get much cuter than that, does it?! I felt truly honored and lucky to witness such a beautiful and heartfelt wedding. Rachel and Brian, thank you for letting me be a part of it. It will be a wedding I’ll remember forever.
