Casey & Zac’s honeymoon session in Negril, Jamaica was perfect. The sun was setting, the water was a bright blue, and these two were honeymooning it up. We quickly grew close to these sweethearts on our recent trip to Jamaica. We learned about their wedding and how they met –
“We met roping in the summer of 2012 and spent the whole night talking to each other… A whole year passed and we randomly ran into each other at another roping competiton and started dating shortly after. The rest is history. Zac is the ultimate partner in life, love and roping. I love the way he supports me and my big dreams. I love that he’s consistent and solid. He is steady when I’m a mess, which is 99% of the time. We both love the fact that we share the same passion and hobby of roping. Most importantly our goals line up with one another and we both love that we are going the same direction at all times.” -Casey
Unfortunately they left before us but we got to spend one night with them out to dinner at our favorite place. Something that I will never in my life forget is what happened next. I was so excited about our food and said a quick “thannnnnkyou Lord for this food” (I never know who likes to pray and who doesn’t but I had to get the thanks out there). Casey looked at me and asked if I wanted to pray in the sweetest way. I thought, “This sweet couple wants to pray with us?”. I don’t know why, but in the happiest way I was thrown off but jumped at the chance to thank the Lord for the food. Then Casey grabbed my hands and the four of us bowed our heads and we prayed. This moment struck my heart in a way that I will never forget. – Holding hands with strangers praying to God. Simply beautiful. These two were so sweet, sincere, and just down to earth that I wish we lived closer – Just means we will have to take a trip to Nashville.
