Five Ways to Help Your Hair Grow Faster


After I recently had to trim my hair (it was a big trim, sigh) I decided to poll Facebook and ask, “How can I make my hair grow faster??”. EVERYONE commented so I did a little research and started testing some things out. This is what I found most effective!


The question that people have been asking for centuries. Honestly- the answer is simple- TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF but if you want to dig a little deeper then that there ARE some things you can do that make a difference.

1) Fish Oil
Fish oil contains omega-3 fatty acids which are AWESOME for your whole body but REALLY good for your hair, skin and nails. These essential oils can make your hair shinier and stronger. Stronger= less split ends. This also helps nourish the hair follicles which helps them grow faster! Woot wooOT!

2) Biotin
Biotin is a naturally occurring B-vitamin that doesn’t stimulate hair growth but renews the roots & follicles thus creating healthier, thicker hair. Its all about loving the follicle!!!

3) Avocado
This produces softer, more elastic hair. Mixing olive oil and avocado oil can create a nice hair mask for your hair (you can find a TON of recipes online).

4) Vitamin C
Its all about keeping your immune system healthy and what better way to do this then Vitamin C!? This amazingly effective nutrient can also help strengthen and grow hair!

5) Water
THIS is beneficial for EVERY INCH of your body but when your hair is hydrated its HAPPY. It’s less likely to break. Isn’t it 8 cups of water a day?? Not only will it grow faster but it will get stronger.
