Jefferson Memorial Engagement Session
Chris & Grace’s engagement session at the Jefferson Memorial was romantic but this story didn’t start with love at first sight. Grace pursued Chris in high school when he “truly wanted nothing to do with me at first.” Grace’s persuasiveness prevailed and she “eventually made him realize we were a perfect match.”
Steadfast Love
Eleven years later their photo session at the Jefferson Memorial was testament to their steadfast love and support for each other. The photographs show what Grace knew from the beginning.
New and Exciting
Grace and Chris recently moved to D.C. from New York City and are in love with their new home. The Jefferson Memorial was the perfect venue to celebrate their new life, enduring love, and their future together. Grace wonders at their loves continued blossoming . . . “even after 11 years, our relationship feels new and exciting.”
Perseverance and Strength
The Jefferson Memorial is symbolic of the couple’s perseverance and strength. Through trials and triumphs, that love remains true and strong. Just as the forefathers in the founding of our nation.
She Just Knew
Grace and Chris live life to the fullest. Whether they are traveling together to Radiohead concerts or sharing their love of the ocean, museums, hockey, a good dance party, and watching The Office, they just fit together. Chris may have needed persuading, but Grace knew.
Weathering Storms
Chris’s romantic proposal in Panama – complete with an engagement ring engraved with their first date – 10/31/2007 – turned dramatic. They got stranded on a boat cruise when lightning struck and their boat nearly sank. Chris then developed the dreaded Dengue Fever. Never thwarted, Grace and Chris are not afraid of the tough times. No doubt their love, like the Jefferson Memorial, will weather storms and stand firm as they embark on the next step in their grand adventure coming in July 2019.
