Kate + Ben | Atlanta Georgia Engagement

Kate & Ben’s engagement in Atlanta, Georgia was an absolute blast!!! We chose to shoot their engagement session in a place called the Studioplex. Honestly, it was photographer dream. Its has an old yet hip look with tons of greenery. Its actually an apartment complex but instead of hallways you have vegetation and open ceilings. There was random artwork hanging on the walls and one of those little mini libraries for the community (you know where you donate a book and borrow a book kind of thing). It didn’t really feel like an apartment, but more like an urban jungle. Next we walked a little ways (it was HOT and these guys were troopers!) to a local market called Krog Market. There were so many cool restaurants and neat little stores to go into. A little further up we were on another side of town with bright colored murals, coffee shops and a ton of unique stores. Out of all the locations we went to for their engagement session, I was absolutely in love with the Studioplex. A jungle inside of an apartment complex, who thinks of these things!? Kate & Ben were so sweet and welcoming in Georgia. During their engagement shoot that would tell me cool facts about the area and gave me a mini tour. These two are newbies to the area but have so much knowledge!! I seriously had a blast with Kate & Ben!!! Hopefully next time we will be able to find some peaches. I was determined to have a peach in one of the shots but get this – – no one had peaches!? Oh well, we tried, right Kate!?
