For Lexie and Jack, it was a walk down memory lane during their engagement session at the University of Richmond. They wanted to go back to the place where it all started. Where their love first began.
Rolling Into Love
The story of Lexie and Jack began at the University of Richmond. They were both students there and met at a Halloween party where Jack was a hockey player wearing roller blades. The rollerblades certainly didn’t help his dance moves but were a great ice breaker, nonetheless! They began dating shortly after, but not long after dating Lexie studied a semester abroad in Spain. One of Lexie’s fondest memories of Jack is when he came to visit her in San Sebastian, Spain. Not only did they have a ton of fun exploring Europe, but it was a big milestone in their relationship. The trip showed their dedication to making it work despite being on opposite sides of the world.
A Scenic Proposal
Since that trip together, traveling and exploring new places has become one of their favorite activities and a way for them to re-connect. After 5 years of dating, Jack and Lexie took their relationship to the next level. It was another traveling adventure when Jack decided to pop the question. Jack proposed while they were hiking Old Rag in Virginia. Not suspiciously at all, Jake woke Lexie up at 5:00 am to leave for their morning hike. Briskly he led her to the top of the mountain and proposed at the first scenic look out spots on the trail.
Fall(ing) In Love
Lexie and Jack’s fall engagement session at the University of Richmond also led us to Monument Avenue. They wanted to also reminisce about their first apartment they shared together on the picturesque street. Both locations were absolutely breathtaking with the changing fall leaves and crisp autumn air. Looking forward to when Lexie and Jack tie the knot next fall at Tuckahoe Plantation. Until then, enjoy some of my favorite images from the most snuggly and cozy engagement session to date!
