Shooting Gayle and Ryan’s wedding at the Longshadow Ranch in Temecula, California was a dream come true. First, let me start off by saying my goal this year was to shoot a wedding in California. I put it out there and some connections were made. But I didn’t just “put it out there” I BELIEVED WHOLE HEARTEDLY that this was possible. A beautiful friend from high school connected me with this couple. We set everything up and I was going to be their wedding photographer! I flew out there and these two were the most welcoming people. I stayed in a beautiful inn, in the mountains of Idyllwild, California and I fell in love. We spent a lot of time together. We hiked, we grabbed dinner, and got to know each other. We shared our love for Christ and talked about the amazing way God connected us and the beautiful things He does for us in life. By the end of the whole adventure I can honestly say I was sad. Yes, a little because the wedding was over but mostly because I had to go back home. I had made an amazing, new friendship with two genuinely, sweet people – – who started off as strangers and then became two people I admired. By the end of it all they started introducing me as “family”. It blows my mind how God works in our lives, and brings others into it. I will never forget this adventure. One thing is certain – I will be forever grateful to my high school friend, Hayley for connecting us.
Seriously GORGEOUS!!
How cute are these two!? They skipped out once they were married!
They did the robot!!! I love it!
