Megan & Grady’s engagement session in Harrisonburg, Virginia was an absolute blast. Did I mention they brought their sweet doggie, Finn!?? He stole my heart, and the show!!! We started off at the Arboretum and then ventured out into the beautiful country side of the Shenandoah Valley. Megan was absolutely in love with a friend’s farm and so we had to take some pictures out there!! As we were driving up my jaw dropped – – mountains, greenery, the most perfect glow!! My heart skipped a beat and it reminded me of my days of going to JMU (I lived out in the country). I honestly felt as if I was in Heaven and my heart ached for how much I missed the mountains. Mountains are truly God’s masterpiece aren’t they!?? Megan and Grady’s love story began back in the Texas Roadhouse Days at JMU (that is where Megan and I worked). Megan worked the bar and Grady was a regular. Grady pursued Megan and won her heart! My favorite part of this beautiful, rustic engagement session was going into the fields. Let me tell you, these two were troopers. I told them to go in the field and then when I had to go in there I freaked out (I have this new fear of snakes). I’ll admit – I may have freaked out a few times jumping and squealing but it got them laughing and thats all that mattered! Thanks for such a fun session you two!!
