Kim and Paul recently welcomed their sweet little baby, Zayden, to the world. His name is derived from his great-grandmother, Kim’s grandmother, Zaida. Sadly, Zaida passed away peacefully at the age of 103 while Kim was carrying Zayden. She and her husband Paul wanted to honor her grandmother’s long legacy with a beautiful tribute by naming their baby in her image.
Mom & Dad are a beautiful couple who both have a fantastic outlook on life. Paul is a free spirit. He’s also known to make just about anyone laugh. He finds solace in his community and loves gathering with those he loves. Kim is an adventurous travel-loving soul. Prior to meeting Paul, she backpacked the world, completely by herself! Together they brought Zayden into their warm home where they will continue writing their story over the years.
Our focus when planning their newborn photography in Richmond was to capture the essence of their home and what life looks like with Zayden’s arrival. We took a laid-back, relaxed approach to their session. This allowed us to work at our own pace while making sure that Zayden was well cared for the entire time.
Kim and Paul confided that nothing in the world can prepare anyone for the splendor of becoming a parent. From challenges to navigating the “fourth trimester”, they have leaned heavily into grace and support.
