Jinny & Phil’s BEAUTIFUL winter wedding at the Granary in Harrisonburg, Virginia will forever be a special one. Before I touch on it- I want to backup to how I met my dear bride. Jinny & I go way back to my college years. We lived together and experienced the beautiful up’s and down’s of life. During those “downs” she would constantly pray with me, even into the wee hours of the night. I will forever be touched by that. I will never forget her birthday surprise for me. I am love peanut butter and when I find a brand I like I am LOYAL. I walked into the kitchen and there sat a pyramid of at least six jars of my favorite peanut butter with bows on it. As silly as that sounds – I cried. I cried because this gal loved me for every inch of me, even when I wasn’t being my best self. She will forever go down as one of those many people who encouraged my walk with Christ.
When Jinny asked me be her photographer I was overjoyed. I knew it was an event I had to be a part of. We had lost touch for some time but once we rekindled, it was like time had never passed. She shared her beautiful story of how God brough her and Phil together and how, their son Noah, was born. I could not wait for their wedding day.
The day came and friends and family gathered for this special occasion sharing so much laughter and joy. The ceremony was lit with hanging light and candles creating extremely intimate and sweet atmosphere. As Jinny walked down the aisle in all her glory I teared up. I teared up when she and Phil worshiped during music. In fact – there wasn’t really a moment throughout the day that I didn’t tear up. Congrats Jinny & Phil! Your wedding was something very special.
