Mary & Timmy’s wedding at The Commonwealth Club of Richmond was timeless, elegant, and full of unforgettable details. It was a late fall afternoon when Mary & Timmy wed. The fall leaves were lit with the glow of the sun peering through the trees. And the weather was inviting for an unseasonably warm fall afternoon in Richmond.
There were moments of delight and whimsy sprinkled throughout Mary & Timmy’s wedding day. The couple wed only days before Halloween and arranged guest favors in the form of trick-or-treat bags to take home. It was a fun way to thank their guests while embracing the spirit of the season.
The Inspiration
The focus of Mary and Timmy’s wedding day was to create a classic, timeless Richmond wedding in the city. Their color palette was primarily comprised of neutrals with light pinks, greens, and heaps of creamy white shades.
The bride’s father served as the floral designer for the day with lush, abundant arrangments. To add a special touch of home to the florals, the bride and groom opted to incorporate Magnolia leaves into their arrangements. The Magnolia leaves are a nod to the bride’s family home, where an enormous Magnolia tree resides in their yard.
Mary & Timmy’s wedding celebration at The Commonwealth Club of Richmond was a reflection of their joyful nature and their fun & lively personalities. The maid of honor along with the best man stood in front of the crowd to deliver their laugh-worthy toasts, which the bride and groom later recalled as one of their favorite moments of the day. From there, the dance floor was positively packed, with guests singing along and dancing to the music, no matter the tune.
