Travis and I had been planning this proposal in Sunday Park, Midlothian for a while over Facebook (we didn’t even know each other) we just had Bethany in common! I was so excited he reached out to me to be a part of this amazingly, intimate day but keeping quiet was extremely hard but I did it!!! We went back and forth over the best time and place to propose to Bethany. When it came down to it, Travis knew Bethany best and an intimate proposal near her parents house in Midlothian was going to be the perfect spot!! We continued to watch the weather all week and the day of the proposal it was a wintery mix of sleet, snow and freezing rain. Can I just say- IT WAS COLD but it was going down!!
I hid in the bushes and brought out the big daddy lens to shoot this historic event . Croutching really low (sometimes sitting on the wet ground) I saw them coming and got my camera ready. I was so shocked they didn’t see me! After experimenting with his GoPro (really setting it up to film the moment), Travis got down on one knee and popped the question. I knew he had said it when Bethany’s hands went to her mouth in awe. I couldn’t contain myself anymore!! I jumped out and she ran over to hug me. Little did she know her sister was in the other bushes filming this amazing event as well. Bethany had photos, her sisters film ANNND video from the GoPro!!! I had never shot a proposal before and was BEYOND grateful I got to be a part of something so beautiful!!! Big shout out to Lindsey & Travis for the awesome team work!!!
