Charlottesville Lifestyle Engagement + Ziggy & Christen

Christen & Ziggy’s lifestyle engagement in Charlottesville, Virginia was nothing less then perfect and one of my favorites to date! I asked Christen what she wanted her engagement session to look like and what places were special to her. She mentioned that doing the shoot at home would be amazing. Ziggy and Christen are simple yet passionate people. They appreciate the small things in life and I knew that doing a lifestyle engagement with them would truly be beautiful. Watching them interact on their home base brought a smile to my face and reminded me that you don’t have to leave the house to find romance. True love is in reading the paper together, drinking coffee hand in hand, and or just putting on your favorite song and dancing. On top of doing all of that they cuddled with pets, and shared stories about their passion for music festivals. I asked them to pull out a record of their favorite song and they went straight for the Beatles. The way they swayed back and forth, she looked up at him, he embraced her tightly . . . I thought I was in a movie. I was temped to put my camera down and just be engulfed in their love! I am so excited my cousin found the man of her dreams. The beauty of this whole story is that Ziggy was there all along. These best friends realized that they didn’t want anyone else but each other and so they they held tight and aren’t letting go!
