Barb and Dan’s wedding was a winter wonderland dream. It might have been a cold day in February, but the rich burgundy tones of the wedding warmed up the night at the Chrysler Museum of Art. Barb looked absolutely ravishing in a strapless Watters lace wedding gown. Her hair was down in loose, elegant curls adorned by her radiant smile. A smile that didn’t leave her face all day as she married the man of her dreams.
Modern Dating
The two met through online dating and instantly connected. They were both busy working professionals who were ready to try their hand at love. After 2.5 years of dating, Dan knew that Barb was the one. He whisked her away to a surprise trip to Asheville, North Carolina just before her birthday. While exploring the historic and beautiful grounds of the Biltmore Estate, he bent down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. Fast forward to their wedding day, and the Chrysler Museum of Art building offers just as a magnificent scene as the Biltmore.
Dancing Into The Night
The atrium that serves as the museum’s entryway has stunning Renaissance arches and a serpentine staircase, offering a timeless look that is classic yet modern at the same time. The space was transformed into an elegant dinner party. Guests were served decadent Lebanese and Polish food catered by Chef by Design Catering. A surprise show byDabke dancers was a crowd favorite. The entire room joined together in song and dance. The energy was electric. It was like something I had never seen before.
You Looked Perfect Tonight
A slower portion of the evening was when Barb and Dan shared their first dance to Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.” The lyrics “I found a love for me, darling just dive right in, and follow my lead,” echoed through the walls into eternity. As I watched them slow dancing, you could see the complete admiration and love they shared for each other. It was such a beautiful moment to witness. The entire day was filled with special moments, from getting ready, to their first look, to saying their vows, and dancing the night away. I felt truly honored to be able to document their special day. I’m so happy I could be a part of it. Cheers to a lifetime of perfect moments and memories! Xoxo.
