Cindy and Will’s University of Richmond Engagement Portraits are natural, classic, and full of so much joy! Cindy and Will’s love story all began when they met at a small gathering. The get-together was hosted by a mutual friend of theirs. Long story short, that mutual friend of theirs is now going to officiate their wedding! How much do you love that? Like, freaking amazing!
This couple is so fun and adventurous. When they spend time together they love being spontaneous or hanging out with their friends. They also enjoy being active by running, hiking, and traveling. And if you want to know how fun and adventurous they really are, I’ll let you in on their proposal story!
Cindy and Will had a “Sonic Date”, planned with some friends. However, their friends changed the time on them at the last minute. Which of course, was the plan all along! So, in the “meantime” Will drove Cindy to Thomas Point Park in Annapolis. Once they arrived he pulled out a canvas and paint-balloon darts. Cindy didn’t think much of it because she and Will often do fun things like this together, so she just went with the flow!
There was paint splattered everywhere as they popped the balloons, and when the very last balloon popped, it contained a heartfelt handwritten note. Will read it to Cindy and together they cried and laughed. Finally, Will got down on one knee and asked Cindy to be his forever date. She of course said yes! From there they had a happy hour get-together with close friends and family to celebrate their new engagement. And they finished the night by finally getting some Sonic slushies with their friends. You know, the “original” plan of the night!
Because they are such an outdoorsy, adventure-loving couple, they asked if we could take some University of Richmond Engagement Portraits filled with light and all the natural beauty of our surroundings. And I cannot stress enough, how incredibly joyful their session was! Cindy and Will were so comfortable and playful with each other during their shoot, that it easily shows in their photos!
