These fall maternity photos at Bandy Field Nature Park in Richmond are filled with love & light! Tiffini, Haider, and big sister Anaya are excited about the upcoming arrival of a sweet baby boy! And, as luck would have it, baby brother’s due date is the same day as big sister Anaya’s birthday. Isn’t that incredible?!
Tiffini and Haider are a loving couple who’ve found that having children has been the sweetest joy for them. While, technically, this photo shoot was about celebrating Tiffini’s moment while carrying her sweet baby boy, we also focused on their family dynamic and the love they have for each other. For their family, quality time is their love language! They love spending time together playing around, and just being goofy. I personally think that a good laugh and those lighthearted “goofy” moments are the key to any happy family!
Big sister Anaya is super excited about the arrival of her baby brother. Mom and Dad have been doing an amazing job of talking with her about their growing family and reading books to her about what it will be like to have a new baby in the house. Mom describes Anaya as a leader, who is helpful and caring. So there is no doubt in my mind that she will do amazing things in her role as a big sister!
Tiffini was looking for maternity photos that had an outdoorsy rustic vibe to them. Which lead me to immediately recommend Bandy Field Nature Park. The surroundings were gorgeous and the entire session was very laid back and peaceful. Of course, big sister Anaya is a busy toddler with lots to do and explore. But we kept it fun for her during the shoot so we could get those beautiful shots of her with Mom & Dad. And, of course, Mommy’s baby bump! There might’ve also been a little Cocomelon thrown into the mix for Anaya too!
Tiffini had this beautiful piece of advice to share with expecting parents!
“Becoming a parent is the best and most difficult thing we’ve ever done. Try not to be so hard on yourself. Seek support from family, friends, and medical providers when you need it. We don’t have to know everything, we just need to know who to ask for help!”
