Heidi and Brett’s beautiful Powhatan Wedding in Virginia was gorgeous and we couldn’t have asked for a prettier day! With spring still in its beginning blooms, it was slightly chilly, but that didn’t stop this amazing day from happening! Heidi and Brett met through a mutual co worker who thought they would be perfect for one another. Heidi put it off for some time but eventually gave in. When she met Brett for their first date she said, “There was just something different about him…his eyes…they were just so kind and honest”. Their first date was shoot’n cans and coolers ( gotta love a southern girl!) at VA Gun Trader’s BBQ. Heidi was right! When Brett looked at Heidi he didn’t have to say a word. It was all in the eyes, every drop of love and emotion.
My favorite memory about this day was the theme – “growing”. With all the flowers in bloom and spring here, it was absolutely perfect and fitting! The favors were boxes of Wildflower seeds. At the reception they had beautiful spring flowers everywhere. The neat thing was it wasn’t just about the season, it was about their love and growing deeper. How beautiful!!! I think Heidi and Brett’s love is pure and simple. I think their love is going to grow and flourish and I couldn’t be happier for them!!
