Kelly & Stuarts Pharsalia Wedding featured hand-selected organic elements, paired with classic wedding day details for an elegant Virginia wedding!
I couldn’t get over Kelly & Stuart’s classic wedding day details. It’s funny how something so unexpected can reflect such emotion when it comes to looking back on your wedding day. The delicate placement of a veil or a carefully crafted bouquet of wildflowers for the bride to hold. The way that Kelly smiles at Stuart, or how their wedding day reflected the sense of honor that they carried into their union.
At every turn of their Pharsalia wedding, I was met with an infusion of these details against the backdrop of the values of their marriage, along with the family and friends who came to celebrate their union. For example, in Kelly’s bridal suite, her wedding party along with the closest members of her family washed over her in prayer, asking for a blessing over her & Stuart’s marriage.
Next, with Kelly wedding day ready, she was off for two first looks. First with her father, and then with her soon-to-be husband. Each was a beautiful moment but in its own way. Dad with tears in his eyes at the sight of his little girl on her wedding day. And Stuart with a bright beaming smile at the sight of his gorgeous bride.
Kelly and Stuart’s wedding ceremony took place on the lawn of Pharsalia. With streams of gorgeous sunlight shining through the trees, they vowed to love one another for all the days of their life. Once they were pronounced as husband and wife, I took them for a stroll around Pharsalia to capture their portraits before they were greeted by their guests at a tented reception on the lawn. The night was spent honoring the new Mr & Mrs with dining, dancing, and a ribbon wand exit. Scroll through the photos below to see each & every detail!
