It’s true, sometimes the best laughter during an engagement session comes from the most unexpected things. Like when your photographer tells you to whisper “McDonald’s” in your fiances’ ear. By the way, I’ll take full credit for that one if you ever decide to use it in the future!
Honestly, Shelly and Casey’s love story is super unique. Casey originally proposed to Shelly after they had been apart 8 long months. They were only 19 at the time and they were enjoying the day out shopping at the mall with Shelly’s brother. They stumbled into Pandora when Shelly pointed out a ring that she told Casey she’d love to have someday. Well someday turned into that day because Casey bought it then and there!
When they were leaving the mall, Casey pulled out the ring and asked Shelly to marry him. She described the experience as being utterly surreal because they were both so young at the time, and separated on opposite ends of the country! But, that wasn’t the only proposal that Casey had in mind.
Another proposal was in the works, but it didn’t come until after they already said I do! Shelly and Casey had been married for three years when Casey, again, popped the question. Shelly was having an awful work day when she arrived home to Casey’s surprise. He told her to close her eyes and he lead her to their room. Once she opened her eyes, Casey was down on one knee with a brand new engagement ring. Now, the couple is planning their big moment, and it all kicked off with their official engagement session!
