As a Richmond Newborn Photographer, capturing baby Thomas and his brand new big brother Henry was such a joyful experience!! Baby Thomas’s mom, Kate, decided to set up his newborn photo session as a mommy and me at-home session and it was the sweetest thing ever!
Planning Baby Thomas’s newborn session in-home worked out, literally amazing! I was able to capture every single sweet interaction between Mom, big brother, and baby. All of the sweet baby snuggles, forehead kisses, and wide-eyed gazes you can imagine. I even got a sweet little newborn yawn!
As a new mom, it can be so hard to get out of the house with a newborn, I get it! Taking the time to schedule a trip to the outside world in addition to packing up all the essentials can quickly turn into a full-on excursion. As a mama myself, I can definitely relate! That’s why I love giving my clients the option to shoot their newborn sessions at home. I know what you’re thinking, “but my house hasn’t been cleaned since before baby arrived”! I totally have you covered there too!! Your house does not have to be picture-perfect clean, for real! We can get you and baby (and siblings and Dad too!) comfortable in one corner of your house and work some photography magic to make your house look worthy of its own episode on HGTV!
I couldn’t get over how amazing Kate, Henry, and baby Thomas looked for their session! Mom bought the kiddos matching outfits with blue crabs printed on them. Kate wore a classic long sleeve sundress in a matching shade of blue, so gorgeous! Their classic blue outfits really brought that timeless feel to their photos.
