Kelsey and Daniel’s engagement session at the Barren Ridge Vineyards in Waynesoboro, Virginia was nothing less than perfect. These two are Hokies who live in Oklahoma and are getting married tomorrow here in Virginia. WOOHOO! They are currently in school in OK but so happy to have the wedding in the state that is for lovers!!! This was the first time meeting them in person and we were determined to do their engagement session before the wedding! 😉
“We have been engaged since May 9th 2015. Kelsey has a family farm in Maryland and her birthday is May 11 so we got dressed up and went to dinner just the 2 of us “for her birthday” and then we stopped at the farm on the way home where I had set up t-posts with pictures and letters from the 6 years we had been together. Then I proposed in front of the barn where I originally asked her out in high school. All the while we had a GoPro stuck on the barn and 2 family members hiding, taking pictures of it all.” – Daniel
Don’t you just love that sweet story!? Guys these days . . . they are getting pretty slick with those GoPros!! The engagement session was gorgeous – – lush greens, rolling mountains and no rain!! After three weddings with rain I kiss the ground for every sunny day! The breeze was blowing so it wasn’t terribly hot either! These sweethearts are riding the joy train because their wedding is tomorrow. Let the fun begin!!!
