This Hermitage Country Club wedding was a warm summer day filled with hope for the future and the intensity of true love. The bride and groom, Julia and Brad, were high school sweethearts who grew closer through a long-distance relationship while attending college. In fact, it was during their initial separation during freshman year when they both realized they had found the one.
As their years spent at college began to unfold Julia and Brad found solace in summers spent together. They even began a long-standing tradition of enjoying a romantic night out together before heading back to their respective alma maters. One particularly memorable summer, Brad proposed to Julia at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. She happily accepted and they began to plan their Hermitage Country Club Wedding.
Though their reception celebration took place at the country club, Julia and Brad opted to host their ceremony at Saint Benedict Catholic Church. Brad attended mass at Saint Benedict throughout his childhood. Knowing this, Julia wanted to honor Brad’s faith and dedication to his parish by saying I do at his house of worship. On the day of their wedding, Julia and Brad’s family and friends poured into the church pews. The moment came when everyone stood as Julia, escorted by her father, made her grand entrance down the aisle. She wore a chic backless wedding gown perfect for her summer vows. It was paired with a floor-length veil covered in pearls transforming Julia into an elegant bride.

Hermitage Country Club Wedding Photos
Undeniably, the grounds of the Hermitage Country Club are an amazing location for capturing wedding photos. For Julia and Brad, my focus was on capturing the essence of their summer wedding while portraying the bond they undoubtedly share. My time with them began in the morning when Julia was putting the final touches on her wedding day look. From that very moment, until guests held glowing sparklers bidding adieu to the newlyweds, I was there to capture every smile, every stolen embrace, and every unforgettable moment. Their Hermitage Country Club wedding photos were filled with the zeal and tenderness experienced throughout every minute.
