Haley & Matt were absolutely adorable giggling throughout their engagement session in Old Town Alexandria. I have lived in Virginia my whole life and NEVER once have I visited this historic town. Haley and Matt were great to show me around; I saw old colorful houses, a pretty little area by the water and AMAZING food. If it wasn’t for Haley and Matt I never would have ventured up here. Old town Alexandria is IDEAL for an engagement session!
These two met in 2006 as students at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA (woo hoo my college!). These lovebirds began their junior year as First Year Orientation Guides, or F.R.O.G.S. as part of the university’s new student orientation. They spent the first week of their junior year together playing ice breaker games, attending required book talks, and (mostly unwillingly) participating in other orientation activities. They ended up falling out of touch for sometime but their story didn’t stop there. While riding the bus home after class Haley and Matt reconnected and discovered that they lived across the street from each other. After a happy birthday Facebook post, and a few texts the cuties decided to go out for Valentines Day. The rest is history. Seven years later these two are engaged. Congrats to you two!
