I am seriously in love with this Narnia inspired bridal session which took place in some Richmond, Virginia woods (woods are hard to find when you are in the city!). I knew the snow was coming, not just snow, but a BLANKET of snow and I was inspired!! I thought BIG FUR COAT! I got a hold of one as soon as possible and contacted Rachel at Elle Style Studio and the sweet gals at Proper Petal to make this happen. I was pumped when they joined me on this last minute, crazy shoot! I volunteered Rachel to be the model because, duh, she’s gorgeous and she had the vintage dress. This shoot was very much inspired by my love of bohemian, the organic feel of the woods, simplicity of details, and of course the mystery of Narnia. I can’t tell you how excited I was with the results. It was exactly what I had envisioned in my mind. Proper Petal blew it out of the water again (we knew they would) and Rachel, well, she has a modeling career ahead of her. You don’t need a lot of details to make something beautiful; Wildflowers, little makeup, and God’s creation go a long way!
